Do you have a hard time trusting others? Do you feel that everyone is inherently selfish? Do you think most people have ulterior motives when they show you kindness? You probably have a good reason for believing that. Most people are self-centered jerks.
You are too! Because nothing could be more jerky than expecting other people to be kind to you for no reason! There are over 6 billion people on this planet and millions of friendly pets! What makes you worthy of a strangers kindness when there are Golden Retriever puppies they could be giving their affection to!
