I remember being a little kid and watching the Garfield cartoon on TV and being disturbed by the cuteness of the character Nermal. There's something inside of me that finds high pitched voices, long eyelashes, and baby face proportions unnerving. This squid baby qualifies as disgustingly cute. I feel a little uneasy looking at it.
I'm amazed that the human brain can look at it and even think 'squid'. Cartoons are strange that way.
